Samasana Group will be volunteering with Cradles to Crayons in their Giving Factory!

Cradles to Crayons was founded on the philosophy that unused resources should be redistributed to the places they are needed most. Basic items for their children–properly fitting outfits for school, diapers, a backpack, shoes, pajamas, a coat for cold weather–are simply not possible. Cradles to Crayons’ mission and model enable our volunteers and donors to turn compassion into action and provide the essential items children in need to thrive at school, participate fully in life, and simply be a kid.

Please Note: Anyone under 18 years must have a parent chaperone assigned to them. The Giving Factory is a warehouse environment. Volunteers are encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes and layered clothing that they do not mind getting dirty. Your volunteer shift will begin with an orientation, and then volunteers will be sent to their stations to inspect, sort, and package donations alongside other individuals and groups.
